The C90D is our rack utility solution providing a seamless interplay of hardware and software. The C90D is just 1U high and only 9 cm deep, but offers unprecedented connectivity and control for multiple devices. Making your own utility controller have never been this easy, thanks to the UniSketch.
(Images may display optional features. Please check with option list. Due to the milling process, minor surface inconsistencies may occur on the enclosure)
In order for you to design the C90D specific to your usecase, we provide the option of removing buttons from the default layout. For each buttom you remove the price will drop $20 USD. When removing a button the cutout in the frontpanel will be removed as well. Removing buttons is done in accordance with the button numbering on the illustration below. If you go for a custom C90D, production time is 3 weeks.
This layout suggestion provides auxiliary control of AUX1-6 on an ATEM 2M/E Switcher, but it could control any of the ATEM Switchers. In this configuration buttons with the numbering 1, 2, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 14, 15, 16 have been removed with a reduction in price of 200$ USD, leaving the total at 1345$ USD.
Another design configuration is control of a total of 4 different SmartScopes (a total of 8 monitors). In this configuration buttons with the numbering 1-4, 9-12, 21-24, 29-32 have been removed with a reduction in price of 320$ USD, leaving the total at 1225$ USD.
This configuration suggest control of a HyperDeck, control of two SmartScopes (4 monitors), setting routing on a VideoHub and ATEM AUX control. In this configuration only buttons with the numbering 5, 13, 18, 26 have been removed with a reduction in price of 80$ USD, leaving the total at 1465$ USD.
The UniSketch also provides the option of controlling multiple ATEM Switchers. This suggestion is to a high degree similar to the C90 MII, but offer the option of selecting between 3 different ATEM switchers, or controlling all 3 at the same time. In this configuration buttons with the numbering 3, 11, 18, 21-24, 26, 29-32 have been removed with a reduction in price of 240$ USD, leaving the total at 1305$ USD.
The web interface provide a graphical representation of the C90D. By pressing on any of the buttons, the slider or the GPIO module (not shown in picture), the menu jump to the configuration for that particular control element.
To learn more about the GPIO possibilities visit the ETH-GPI Link product page.
The C90D Rack Controller runs UniSketch which allows you to configure the controller for multiple hardware devices such as the ATEM Switcher, HyperDeck, SmartScopes, VideoHubs, AJA KUMO Routers, vMix and more. You can even configure the unit to control multiple hardware devices at the same time. The microprocessor (SKAARDUINO Due) inside the C90D controller allows connections to a maximum number of 8 devices. See the latest list of supported hardware devices at the UniSketch page.
In the "Devices Settings" part of the web interface you check which devices you want to enable/disable control for. For each device you enter the IP address.
With the GPIO option you get 2x8 channel I/O with the DB-25 connector. The DB-25 connector configuration is similar to the BlackMagic Design GPI & Tally Interface. Use the GPO to provide tally and the GPI to trigger a action with a foot pedal, a switch or something similar. The behaviour of the GPIO can be fully controlled from the UniSketch web interface. The GPIO module will not be fitted, if this option is not selected.
