Canon XC controller
SKAARHOJ has been collaborating with Canon since the early days of their XC protocol release. This partnership has enabled our PTZ and shading controllers to adjust any parameter across Canon’s full PTZ and cinema camera range. A close working relationship led to the development of a dedicated controller, the RC-SK5, which is sold by Canon. Now, you have the choice of Canon, SKAARHOJ, or co-branded Canon+SKAARHOJ panels.

Canon PTZ
Canon’s XC protocol has opened their PTZ cameras to third-party control, allowing us to map virtually any parameter onto our controllers. This includes basic PTZ movement and preset storage/recall, advanced color correction, and high-end features like ND filters, auto-tracking, and movement tracing.
Together, Canon cameras and SKAARHOJ controllers form a powerful combination—pairing top-tier cameras with top-notch controllers. With a range of controller form factors, Canon users can choose from compact options like the PTZ Fly, to user-friendly models such as the PTZ View and PTZ Pro, or even the advanced PTZ Extreme. Each PTZ controller can also be paired with the Frame Shot Plus or Frame Shot Pro for quick preset access. For professional users, our shading controllers like the RCP Pro or Color Fly enable in-depth color grading capabilities.

Canon EOS Cinema
The cinematic look is now more commonly used in multicam setups. Canon’s well-known full-frame camcorders—the EOS C300 Mark III, C500 Mark III, newer C400, and compact C80—can now be seamlessly integrated into live production environments. To create a unified visual experience, users must adjust color parameters on each camera. Our RCP series, featuring the flagship RCP Pro and the compact RCP Mini, is the perfect solution for this. For those who don’t require dedicated shading bay mounting and prefer a compact desktop panel, the Color Fly offers a great alternative, allowing users to adjust iris with motorized faders.
RC-SK5 and Pro license
The RC-SK5 is a unique product created by SKAARHOJ in collaboration with Canon to provide an optimal user experience, bridging the gap between Canon’s basic and flagship controllers. The RC-SK5 is available through Canon authorized dealers in select countries and comes with a basic license, which supports Canon cameras and essential configurations—ideal for customers seeking a high-quality controller for a straightforward setup.
