With Wave Board Mini, you enter a new world of universal mixing. The Danish-designed SKAARHOJ signature hardware makes it a unique piece of equipment. Eight precise motorized faders with comprehensive displays showing live level meters make your mixing simple and efficient. Add to that all the other components, such as 4-way and 2-way buttons, color-coded encoders, and screens guiding you on parameter values, and you will never want to go back.
Yes - It is IP-based
Unlike any other “universal” controller Wave Board Mini is not USB-based and doesn’t require a computer to communicate with the controlled device. You just plug it in your network and it sends and receives direct commands (including live level meters) to/from your device.
Build Layers as You Wish
Like any other SKAARHOJ device, Wave Board Mini features our Linux-based engine, Blue Pill Inside. It allows you to either use our ready-to-go mappings and simply select which devices you wish to control, or to build your own meticulous setup with every single hardware component controlling the exact parameter you want. Using our channel selection tool, you can build a very advanced surface in a few minutes. One layer can control inputs and outputs from the DSP, while another layer can control audio levels in your broadcast system and adjust lighting.
Scales to Your Needs
Four faders might be the perfect number for a small application or as an auxiliary panel to your larger surface. Wave Board Mini can work as a standalone desk, meeting your size restrictions, but it can also be used as an extension to the Wave Board or any other SKAARHOJ panel. Your vision mixer operator might need to adjust audio - why not with faders? The slick design makes for a perfect mix and match, even with our large vision mixing controllers.
