L12: Memories
Learn how memories are used to create camera selectors or selecting M/E row on a switcher. Memories are like variables that transport simple numbers around in the controller.
Summary: Memory A is used to change M/E row on a Live Fly controller connected to an ATEM switcher. M/E2 is selected by toggling Memory A between 0 and 1. After defining a button to toggle the value in Memory A, Memory A is being applyed to the M/E parameter for a number of ATEM related actions. We will verify the function with a 2M/E switcher. Kasper mentions that Memories are also often used for router source and output selection and camera selection.
