L6: Ground Up I - Configuration from scratch
This session starts a configuration for an ATEM switcher from scratch to show how easy it is to build your own configurations if none exists already. A Live Fly is configured for Program/Preview bus, fader, cut and auto. Kasper ends the session with adding keyer toggles, transition effect selectors, media selectors and fade to black button.
Summary: In this video Kasper build a configuration from scratch for an ATEM switcher and using a Live Fly controller. The controller already had a configuration (Raw Panel) but Kasper creates a new configuration online, giving it a name, then adds an ATEM device core to the configuration. He adds basics like a busrow for Program/Preview, fader, cut and auto functions. In the process Kasper discusses these basic actions for the ATEM switcher as well as their parameters. Finally he adds some DSK and Upstream Keyer actions as well as transition style selector buttons on the panel. Kasper also discusses how “Hold Down” function can be very useful with other binary triggers like a GPI input on an ETH-GPI Link box.
